Haiti - Football : Olympic Qualification 2016, Haiti loses against Honduras [1-0]
Friday evening, at StubHub Center in Carson, California, as part of his first match in the final round of qualifying in the CONCACAF of Olympics 2016, the Haitian Olympic team loses against Honduras [1-0], at the 6' following a shot on goal by Antony Lozano that allowed the Honduran to rank second in group B behind Mexico who crushed [4-0] the Costa Rica team later.

For this match, the national coach Marc Collat, had lined this eleven Odelus Valendi (GK #1) – Stephane Lambèse (#2) , Jude Saint-Louis (Cap #5) , Sévere Verilus (#18), Alex Christian Junior (#3)- Beaubrun Benderlin (#4, replaced by Venel St Fort #13) , Pierre Paulson (#14, replaced by Jonel Désiré #9), Zachary Herivaux (#16) – Francois Christiano (#11), Manchini Telfort (#19), St-Vil Nerlin (#17, replaced by Cherenfant SWoodensky Marlet #10).

Let's emphasize the good performance of the goalkeeper of the Aigle Noir, Luis Valendi Odelus, preferred to Ronald Elusma and Ramos PointeJour, who avoided to Haiti a wide defeat by intervening with "maestria" in several incriminating actions, especially on the goal of the right foot by Darwin Espina on the left side of the cage he stopped. Pierre Paulson also saved Haiti of a second goal by eliminating on the goal line a head shot at the penalty spot of Lozano, who had put the Haitian defense in trouble especially in the first period.

This Sunday, October 4th, Haiti will face Mexico, Olympic champion, leader of the group while Honduras will face Costa Rica.
